Avalanche education is a continued learning process, at Elevated we strive to deliver hands on training in the backcountry with small groups to get the most out of your experience.

Dive headfirst into this jam packed one day course dedicated entirely to, you guessed it, rescue! In the event that you, or someone you know is ever caught in an avalanche we want you to be as prepared as possible, as time is of the essence.
We go over what gear you have and what you need, how to use your gear and getting right into the down and dirty of full-blown real-life scenario's, with both single and multiple burials.
This course is designed for anyone, and everyone whether you have done this before and want to brush up your skills or for those of you who have never even pulled out all that shiny new gear, come join us for a day full of fun filled practice rescues.
The Aire 1 is a recreational avalanche course designed as an introductory into the world of all things snow. This is a 2 day course that takes you into the field, diving deep into the layers of the snowpack, learning to read and understand terrain and mitigate the risk of avalanches. All backcountry snowmobilers welcome, whether you have a few days on the snow or twenty years on the snow, avalanche education is a continued learning process and there is never enough information to be had.
The Aire 2 provides you with the opportunity to advance your avalanche knowledge and decision making skills. This course is designed to give you the information to start making leadership decisions and advance your overall view while traveling safely in the backcountry. In this 2 day course we dive deeper into the snowpack, we will give you the basic forecasting framework to use in conjunction with the avalanche bulletins to make more accurate decisions. We will cover more advance rescue skills and much much more.
Prerequisites for this course consist of a Rescue course and we strongly encourage your level 1 prior to this course.
