Motorized Education and SKills
Elevated Backcountry provides avalanche education and riding skills for the winter motorized community of western Washington. Our courses are designed and led by AIARE certified snowmobile instructors and feature the AIARE Decision Making in Avalanche Terrain curriculum designed for recreational backcountry travelers. Our objective is to engage our students with the knowledge and skills required of themselves and their team to manage avalanche risk specifically, and risk in general, as they pursue backcountry adventures.
